FAQ
Are these tools free to use?
Yes, all of them, with no login and no app. They run on the page in your browser; the default answer is computed on EVz's servers so you see a real result even before you touch a control.
What data do the tools run on?
The same verified EVz catalogue as the rest of the site - manufacturer-published specifications, independently tested real-world range where it exists, and sourced, dated state policy data for taxes and subsidies. Every figure can be traced via the how-we-verify page.
Which tool should I start with?
If you know nothing yet, start with Find your EV to get a shortlist, then put the finalists in the comparison builder. If you already have a model in mind, go straight to the on-road price for your city and the savings calculator for your daily km.
