Corrections log

We correct errors openly. When we change a published figure after finding it was wrong, we log it here with the date and a plain description of what changed. This is part of how we verify our data.

• 2026-07-27 - Ola S1 Pro (Gen 3): Removed the 127 km tested real-world range from the S1 Pro Gen 3: a provenance audit traced that figure to Autocar India's 2022 test of the original S1 Pro, a different generation. No independent test of the Gen 3 exists yet, so the model now shows its IDC claim only. This also removes what was previously our largest published claim-vs-tested gap.
• 2026-07-27 - MG Windsor EV Pro: Removed the 400 km tested real-world range: the figure traces to Autocar India's '400km-plus' projection in their review, not an instrumented range test. The Pro shows its claimed figure only until a real test is published.
• 2026-07-27 - BYD Sealion 7: The Premium RWD's 500 km tested figure was unsupported by its cited source and has been removed. The Performance AWD's tested figure is corrected to 374.5 km per Autocar India's instrumented test (previously 370).
• 2026-07-27 - Mahindra XEV 9e: Tested real-world range corrected from 488 km to 456 km on two variants: 488 was Autocar India's highway-only figure; 456 is their combined city-highway result, which is the basis EVz uses everywhere.
• 2026-07-27 - Hyundai Creta Electric LR: Tested real-world range updated from 426 km (Autocar India's first-drive mixed run) to 432 km (their standardized instrumented range test).
• 2026-07-27 - Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: Tested real-world range adjusted from 200 km to 190 km: the source (Autocar India's road test) states 'about 180-200 km' as a ridden estimate, so EVz now carries the midpoint rather than the top of the band.
• 2026-07-27 - MG ZS EV: Tested real-world range corrected from 340 km to 339 km to match Autocar India's instrumented combined figure exactly.
• 2026-07-27 - Vida VX2: Removed four duplicate VX2 variant listings that entered the catalogue under two naming formats during data gathering. One duplicate carried an incorrect ex-showroom price for the VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh (Rs 1,44,000; the correct sourced figure is Rs 1,50,990). The model now lists its four variants once each.
